Ca Na Bassera, Country house in Alcudia, Mallorca

We had a wonderful week at Ca Na Bassera HOWEVER it’s not for the faint hearted. When we arrived we were shocked at the darkness in house. It was pitch black when we arrived during the day and sweltering inside. We realised it was due to the windows needing to be closed to try to keep the house cool in the day. It helps marginally. We didn’t think we’d be able to stay for the week however we had a great nights sleep upstairs as the AC works a treat! So thankful for that! As the days went on we grew to love the house and its quirks. We loved sitting outside with our own speaker in the mornings and evenings at the pool. We also cooked most of our dinners and sat outside under the pergola, it was a core memory for us. Our 7 Month old baby was with us and the heat inside was a bit too hot for her, I’d say the house isn’t great if you have young kids as they can’t cope with the constant heat. I really think this could be a 5 star if they invested in AC downstairs. Thanks for a

Wir haben die Finca und das Haus als sehr schön und gepflegt empfunden. Die Ausstattung war vollständig und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Leider verfügte eines der Schlafzimmer über keine Klimaanlage. Gerade auf Mallorca ist eine Klimaanlage für uns ein absolutes Muss, da die Nächte sonst sehr warm sind und man kaum schlafen kann. Abgesehen davon waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.
